Rehabilitation Psychology is classified as a clinical specialty in the area of mental health and disability. The importance of Rehabilitation Psychologist has been rationalized to the scientist-practitioner model in a wide range of Psychology.

    Rehabilitation psychology is recognized as a clinical specialty within the broad fields of psychology, and the role of the rehabilitation psychologist is conceptualized using the scientist-practitioner model.
